Verb Tenses: Future Perfect

3.1. Future Perfect
"Oh no! The train will have left by the time we arrive". In this example, "will have left" is the future perfect and it expresses an action that will be completed before another future action.
3.2. Future Perfect Continuous
"When my Dad retires next year he will have been working for 40 years". Here "he will have been working" expresses the duration of time of an action at a future moment.
